Nicolas joins the group as a PhD student
Nicolas Fonda is a new PhD student at the Catalysis for Energy and Environment laboratory at the University of Udine. He got the master’s degree in chemistry at the University of Trieste. In his master thesis he collaborated with the Nanoscale Materials Laboratory group at the Elettra Synchrotron of Trieste and investigated, both theoretically and experimentally, properties of size-selected clusters. He is interested in heterogeneous catalysis, especially in the investigation of fundamental properties of catalysts, which is essential to overcome the energetic and environmental problem.
