JUAN MANUEL MANIQUE TORRES

Juan is a Ph.D. student at the University of Udine. He holds a Chemical Engineering degree and a master’s degree in Processes Design and Management from Universidad de La Sabana, Colombia. His previous research has focused on Dual Function Materials, Power-to-X, process escalation, and hydrogen technologies. He has investigated CO2 adsorption and its catalytic conversion to methane through kinetic and dynamic studies. He has also studied hydrogen deployment in Colombia’s energy system. His interests include the development of innovative materials and processes for CO2 capture and valorization.
