FAREEHA BATOOL

Fareeha Batool is a PhD student (started Dec. 2024) in Environmental and Energy Engineering Science, supported by the PNRR scholarship. Her research, in collaboration with Treibacher Industries, focuses on oxidation catalysts for volatile organic compounds in sulfur-containing industrial exhaust gases. She completed her MS from NUST University, Pakistan, with a thesis on enhancing microbial fuel cell activity by incorporating a Polypyrrole/MXene composite as an anode material. During her MS, she gained valuable experience in electrochemical systems and material synthesis. She has a keen interest in environmental catalysis, particularly in developing efficient and sustainable solutions for industrial emissions, contributing to energy and environmental advancements.
