Alessandro Trovarelli appointed as a fellow of ITATEC - Accademia di Ingegneria e Tecnologia

Alessandro Trovarelli was appointed as a fellow of the Academy of Engineering and Technology (Accademia di Ingegneria e Tecnologia, ITATEC) at the proposal of the President's Council, in recognition of his scientific achievements in line with the aims of the Academy. Founded in September 2022, Itatec is an initiative of the Accademia dei Lincei. It is a multidisciplinary association that aims to stimulate and facilitate the exchange of knowledge between universities, research institutions, and industry. Members chosen for their scientific merit are tasked with providing assessments and recommendations to stakeholders, policymakers and society on impactful technological issues. In addition to its national role, the Academy aims to represent Italian engineering and technology on the international stage. Itatec is a member of the European Council of Applied Sciences, Technologies and Engineering (EASTE), an organisation that connects engineering, applied science and technology institutions from 23 countries and provides scientific advice to the European Commission.
