International workshop and XXIII National Congress on Catalysis

Maila, Rudy and Alessandro attended the International Workshop “Catalysis for carbon neutrality and energy transition; from design to industrial applications” and the XXIII National Catalysis Congress  GIC 2023 “Catalysis as a golden lighthouse for green chemistry and energy related technologies” held in Genova from June 13th to June 16th.  During the Workshop, Alessandro gave a lecture entitled "Mechanochemistry: an old tool for a new class of catalysts for environmental and energy transition". At the Conference Rudy presented a work on “Metal-support interaction in methane dry reforming catalysts prepared via dry mechanochemical synthesis” while Maila presented the investigation on “Effect of milling parameters on the chemistry, morphology, and CO oxidation activity of CeO2 powders”. Another contribution from the group in cooperation with Polytechnic of Turin was given by Francesco Orsini entitled “The impact of exsolution on chemical looping applications of Sr2FeMo0.6Ni0.4O6-δ”.
